Dear neighbor,

The Interim Board of LCON is pleased to inform you that it has completed its operational analysis and recommendations for the membership.

The recommendations (as attached) were developed with the guiding principles of open-access, diversity and consensus-building in mind. To this end, be advised that LCON was incorporated as a 5.01(c)(4) on July 18, 2002.

The minutes of the Interim Board meetings and the proposed by-laws and organizational structure are attached for your review. We would like to use this time before the Aug 8th meeting to discuss any concerns/suggestions regarding these. Our intent is to have an organizational structure approved at the meeting and move on to issues.

Respectfully,

LCON Interim Board of Directors
